COMPUTER SYSTEM TECHNOLOGY

The Computer System Technology program is designed to prepare students for an entry-level position as a Computer Service Technician servicing and supporting PC’s.  Network administration of PC’s is also taught to enhance the individual’s knowledge in support of a small business.  This course will also prepare the individual to pass the A+ Certification exam.  A+ Certification is a testing program sponsored by the  Computing Technology Industry Association (COMPTIA) that certifies the competency of service technicians in the computer industry.  Earning A+ Certification means students possess the knowledge and skills essential for a successful Computer Service Technician as defined by expert companies across the industry.
